Hardwood, LVP, tile, and carpet — we install, refinish, and replace flooring throughout your home.
Billy Weatherspoon Contractor has been transforming floors in Apex homes for over 40 years. Whether you're looking to restore original hardwood in a historic downtown home, install LVP throughout a newer build in Haddon Hall, or add warm tile to a kitchen or bath, our team handles it with the skill and care your home deserves.
We work with all major flooring types — hardwood, LVP, laminate, tile, and carpet — and our process always starts with subfloor evaluation and prep. Free estimates and honest recommendations on which flooring type is right for your home, lifestyle, and budget.
What We Do
New flooring is one of the fastest ways to transform a space. We install all major flooring types — hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and carpet — and we refinish existing hardwood floors to restore their original character. Every installation starts with proper subfloor prep, because even the best floor looks bad and fails early on a poorly prepared substrate. We do it right from the ground up.

Common Questions
LVP or hardwood — which should I choose?
It depends on your lifestyle and budget. LVP is waterproof, more durable in high-traffic or pet households, and costs less. Hardwood adds more resale value but requires more care. We're happy to walk through the tradeoffs with you.
Can you install over existing flooring?
Sometimes, but not always. It depends on what's underneath and the height difference it would create. We'll assess the subfloor and give you an honest recommendation before starting.
How long does flooring installation take?
Most flooring projects take 1–3 days per floor or area, depending on size and material. We work efficiently and can often complete a full home in under a week.
